Great Expectations.....Great Rewards
Language Arts Beliefs
This is my eighth year as a language arts teacher at McAnally Intermediate, and I have enjoyed each year. I am very passionate about literature and to discussing the different parts of literature with my students. Sixth graders open my eyes every day to a new and unique way of thinking.
My goal for students is that they leave my classroom each day feeling that they had a positive learning experience. I will help students become critical readers and writers this year. I also expect students to step into the role of being responsible for their learning in sixth grade.
About Mrs. Tuel
I graduated from Tarleton State University in August 2008. My husbands name is Todd, and we have two beautiful children. Grayson is ten years old and attends Coder Elementary. Grayson is hearing impaired and has been wearing hearing aids since the age of two. Grayson reminds me every morning of the individual needs each one of my students have. Taylor, my daughter, is five years old and will start kindergarten this year at Coder. While my son Grayson is an introvert, my daughter Taylor is an extrovert, so I get to see the two different personalty types interacting every day in my home.
I am looking forward to meeting your children and having another great year. Always feel free to email or call me with any questions or concerns.
